What Happened to the Jesse

What Happened to the Jesse

Aaron Paul portrays the fictitious character of Jesse Bruce Pinkman, the deuteragonist of the American crime drama television series “Breaking Bad”. He works alongside Walter White his former high school chemistry instructor (portrayed by Bryan Cranston), as a cook and dealer of crystal meth.

Except for Walter, Jesse is the only other character to appear in each show episode. One of the few characters to feature in both the movie and the television program, Paul returned to the role for the 2019 spin-off sequel film “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” which is set after the show’s finale and again in 2022 for the sixth and final season of the spin-off prequel sequel series Better Call Saul.

What Happened to Jesse in the End of Breaking Bad?

With the help of his partner Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), Walter White (Bryan Cranston) established a meth empire from the ground up throughout the five seasons of “Breaking Bad” with terrible results for both of them.

By the time “Felina” the series finale arrives Walt is wanted all over the country and hated by every family member. At the same time, Jesse is a slave in a hidden meth factory operated by Jack Welker (Michael Bowen) and his gang of Neo-Nazis.

In “Felina” Walt uses a remote-controlled machine gun to slaughter Jack and his gang before liberating Jesse. As Jesse flees to freedom in Todd Alquist’s (Jesse Plemons) Chevrolet El Camino his fate is purposely left unclear.

Jesse temporarily hides out with lifelong pals Badger (Matt Jones) and Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) in “El Camino” but he must stay under the radar because the cops are now looking for him. He attempts to break into Todd’s flat and take his stash of cash but is stopped by a group of thieves with similar goals led by Neil Kandy (Scott MacArthur).

Jesse eventually recovers his money after killing Neil and another companion in a duel. He then uses that money to relocate with Ed Galbraith, the “Vacuum Salesman” played by Robert Forster.

Badger and Skinny Pete inform Walter White in the episode that they thought Jesse had left to Alaska after the police cracked down on Walt. Now that Jesse has escaped the New Mexico police, further information about his goals is not given after seeing him drive off into the Alaskan wilderness.
