Chase Stokes is the boyfriend of Kelsea Ballerini. Actor James Alexander Chase Stokes was born in the United States on September 16, 1992. He is best known for playing John Booker Routledge in the Outer Banks teen drama series on Netflix.
Jeff Stokes and Jennifer Canning’s lone child Stokes was born in Annapolis, Maryland. He was a few months old when his parents got divorced. Stokes then moved with his mother to Canton, Georgia before finishing high school in Orlando, Florida, where he attended Timber Creek High School.
After graduating from Valencia College with a bachelor’s degree, he went to Seminole State College and the University of Central Florida. He wanted to play ice hockey professionally when he was younger.

When did Kelsea Ballerini & Chase Stokes Start Relationship?
Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium hosted the Georgia vs. TCU game, where Ballerini and Stokes first appeared together. In a group picture that Todd Graves posted, the two stood close. You can see the post provided below:
Stokes seems to have soft-launched his romance with Ballerini on January 13 when he posted a picture of the two of them holding hands during a football game and a carousel of images with the phrase “lil recap.”
The two went out together again in Nashville at the end of January. The two may be seen holding hands while out on a date at Robert’s Western World. Witnesses reportedly saw the two interacting with one another and sharing an appetizer.
A few days after their outing in Nashville, the couple was spotted in Los Angeles while making out at the LAX airport. The two were seen holding hands and exchanging hugs in pictures as they left the airport.
Stokes briefly addressed his alleged relationship with Ballerini about the forthcoming season of Outer Banks, stating that they have just been spending some time together. He said, “Kelsea is a lovely, lovely girl. She’s great. We’re having a good time.”
Ballerini released a TikTok of Stokes in her bed later that day. Fans soon recognized the actor from his tattoos even though the clip showed his arm. Ballerini discussed her divorce and dating life during a preview of an episode of the podcast Call Her Daddy.
She said, “I never really went on dates! I have no idea how it functions.” Ballerini spoke about the romance rumours around Stokes and her present romantic situation. She asked laughing, “Am I single? Am I alone? God. Uh, nope.”
The singer made her first public disclosure about how she met Stokes in her Call Her Daddy podcast interview, which was made available on February 22. She acknowledged that she decided to enter his direct message after the two began following each other on Instagram.
Six months into their relationship, “Mountain With a View” singer Ballerini said Stokes had been a great partner. She added:
“We’re very similar. We’re both Labrador Retrievers in human form. It doesn’t take much conversation to be on the same page, which is nice.”
