When did Robert Arevalo Die?
He passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 85. He was a well-liked actor best remembered for his work in May Bukas Pa, Working Girls and Visconde Massacre Story among other films.
His daughter, Anna Ylagan, first broke the news of his passing on her Facebook page. She said, “Today is the day that the Lord has chosen to take our dearest Papa home.”
The two-day celebration of Robert Arevalo’s life will be held at Arlington Memorial Chapels, Araneta Ave. ‘Solace 1 & 2’ from 1 pm onwards on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023 with Mass at 7:30pm and on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023 with Mass at 7 pm. This follows a private cremation ceremony with the family the previous day.
His daughter said, “OnAugust 11, 2023, would have been their 61st wedding anniversary. Papa loved my Mama selflessly and unconditionally.”
Theodore Ylagan Tito Arévalo and Guadalupe Francisco Ylagan welcomed “Robert Arevalo” into the world on May 6, 1938. He was from Dumaguete, Philippines and had a long history in the entertainment industry thanks to his uncle, actor Angel Esmeralda and Tito, a well-known composer and vocalist.
