The second season teaser and poster for Marvel Studios’ animated short-form comedy I Am Groot, which features Baby Groot’s return, have been released by Disney+.
The film teases Baby Groot’s upcoming solo adventures, in which the beloved Guardian will construct a mechanical snowman, dine at a space dessert café, and make a new pal. Marvel Drops I Am Groot Season 2 on Disney+
Marvel Studios has revealed that I Am Groot Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ next month, surprising fans who were expecting Loki Season 2. A full month before Tom Hiddleston’s series premieres on October 6, an animated short series starring Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy is released on September 6.
Thus, Loki is the second MCU show set in the same continuity as I Am Groot, and What If…? is expected to be the third. X-Men ’97 and a number of Marvel’s other Disney+ series that had been planned for 2023 now appear to be pushed out to next year. Those waiting for the second season of Loki need not worry about competing with any other major Marvel productions once I Am Groot is released on the streaming site.

I Am Groot Season 2: What to Expect?
The logline for Season 2 goes as follows: “Aboard the Guardians’ spaceships, Baby Groot travels the galaxy and beyond, meeting new and colorful creatures and environments.” Season 2 of I Am Groot is also directed and written by Kirsten Lepore. Vin Diesel, known for his role as Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, returns to reprise the role.
Lepore, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt serve as executive producers, with Danielle Costa taking on the role of supervising producer for the web series. Craig Rittenbaum and Alex Scharf are the show’s producers.
