Ian Watkins, who used to be the lead singer of the band Lostprophets and was sentenced to 29 years in prison for s*xually abusing children, was apparently stabbed at HMP Wakefield.
He was reportedly taken to the hospital after being stabbed at the West Yorkshire jail. A source told the Mirror that three other prisoners had taken him, hostage, early Saturday morning.
A Prison Service spokesman said, “Police are looking into what happened at HMP Wakefield on Saturday.” We can’t say anything more until the cops finish their investigation.”

Watkins was sentenced to 29 years in prison and six more years on probation in December 2013 after admitting to a number of s*x crimes, including trying to rape a fan’s baby.
