Who is Malala Yousafzai Husband?
Malala Yousafzai was publicly against marriage before meeting Asser Malik, but he changed her mind about commitment. Despite saying she didn’t think marriage was for her, the human rights crusader eventually tied the knot with Malik in November 2021.
“Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life,” she wrote alongside a series of snaps from the intimate ceremony. “We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families.”
“Please send us your prayers,” she added. “We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.”
After the wedding, Malik posted a photo of himself and Yousafzai biting into a “victory cake” and said some kind things about his new wife. They went to see the Barbie film with Yousafzai.

They went to see the Barbie movie in July of 2023, and Yousafzai posted a sarcastic caption on Instagram afterward. She made a sly reference to the movie’s feminist undertones when she quipped, “This Barbie has a Nobel Prize He’s just Ken.” We thought it was hilarious and touching; I pray that this caption doesn’t offend any real-life Kens as much as the movie Ken did.

Who is Asser Malik?
According to his LinkedIn profile, Malik is now employed by the Pakistan Cricket Board, the governing body for the sport in Pakistan, where he will assume the role of High-Performance General Manager in May 2020.
