Paul Reubens was an American actor and comedian and most known for originating and playing the role of Pee-wee Herman. But we are saddened to share the news that he passed away suddenly on July 30, 2023, at 70.

He had been secretly fighting cancer for the last six years according to a statement posted on Instagram after his death.
Was Pee Wee Herman Married?
According to the law, Paul Reubens was never truly legally wed. His dating history is undoubtedly distinctive, though. There was widespread speculation that he was dating Italian actress Valeria Golino after they were spotted together on the red carpet at the 1988 Academy Awards ceremony.
Paul even made vows at a “mock wedding” (The mock wedding is a folk drama that flourishes in the small communities of the Great Plains and is as strong a tradition today as it was more than 100) the following year.
In a mock wedding ceremony, Paul exchanged vows with Chandi Heffner, the adopted daughter of tobacco heiress Doris Duke, took place. Paul said at the time, “I still have the temporary marriage license signed by Imelda Marcos.”
Paul left behind a little family when he passed away. He does, however, leave a legacy of humor and atonement and made millions of people happy over decades.

His portrayal of Pee-wee Herman helped him become a cult favorite among kids and adults. His character appeared in a number of films and even had a starring role in Pee-wee’s Playhouse, a children’s program. He made multiple public appearances as Pee-wee, who would continue to appear in works as recently as 2016.
