The return of everyone’s favorite Arconia crime-fighting team is almost back! As if its core ensemble of Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez wasn’t enough, “Only Murders in the Building” is back for Season 3 with even more star power.
The gang learned at the end of Season 2 that Becky Butler, not Cinda’s aide Poppy was responsible for Bunny’s death. She intended to create a podcast with her partner and lover, Detective Kreps and gain notoriety by solving the crime. The events of Season 3 are set up by the Season 2 finale’s abrupt leap forward in time.
It feels fitting to lean into Oliver a bit more and his goal of a potential comeback since Season 1 was really focused on a Mabel story and Charles and his father emotionally dominated Season 2 in many respects. What you need to know about “Only Murders in the Building’s” third season is provided below.

Who are the Cast Members of Only Murders in the Building Season 3?
In their individual roles as Charles Haden-Savage, Oliver Putnam and Mabel Mora, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez all make a comeback.
Additionally returning from Season 2 are Ryan Broussard, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Michael Cyril Creighton. Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd will be joining the group in Season 3, adding a couple of powerhouses to the original trio.
Rudd appeared in the Season 2 finale as Ben Glenroy, the lead in the play that Oliver is directing. His on-stage demise will serve as the season’s central mystery.
Additionally scheduled to appear as guests are Matthew Broderick, Jane Lynch, and Tina Fey. Murder has never been more fun to watch. “Only Murders in the Building” has produced two excellent seasons of murder mysteries in which three individuals who would otherwise have nothing in common work together to solve crimes, record podcasts, and present hilarious generational roasts.
