He quickly got plastic surgery to remedy his perceived flaws. Ewing claims he had to wear a full-face mask to recover from the unbearable discomfort of his original cheek implants. A doctor suggested a chin implant after the procedure altered his face. Ewing immediately understood that every new operation required the following method to correct undesired abnormalities.
His body dysmorphic problem distracted him from playing Dylan on ABC’s Modern Family. His before-and-after images show his plastic surgery changes. Ewing said juggling his severe anxiety and cosmetic surgery while filming Modern Family was difficult.
Instead of rehearsing for the job, he wrote about body dysmorphic disorder and considered his acting career. To manage his condition, Ewing appreciates his personality and goals.
