Cardi B Battery Case

Cardi B Battery Case

Cardi B has been accused of violence after an incident on July 29 at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas, in which she allegedly threw a microphone at a member of the audience.

Variety has obtained a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department which confirms a woman reported a battery the very next day. There have been no apprehensions or citations issued.

A battery report was filed at an LVMPD station on July 30, 2023, according to the LVMPD’s report. The victim stated that she was at an event in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard on July 29, 2023. She was injured when something thrown from the stage hit her during the show.

Cardi B Threw Mic At A Fan

The microphone throw was the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s retaliation for a fan throwing a drink at her during her performance. It’s still not clear if the same guy tossed the drink and claimed to have been struck by the microphone.

The woman who tossed the drink at Cardi can be seen and heard apologizing in footage that has since gone viral online. Videos also show security ushering the guy out; after allegedly directing some harsh comments at the perpetrator, Cardi leaves the stage.

The fight is the most recent example of a worrying trend that has permeated the music industry in recent weeks. A fan in New York nearly knocked out Bebe Rexha by tossing a cell phone at her head, a fan in Vienna hit Harry Styles with an unknown object, and a fan in Germany said to Latto, “Want your a*s beat?

One possible explanation for these incidents is the attention they receive online, as evidenced by the assailant’s stated motive for attacking Rexha:

“I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”

This statement was made by the 27-year-old man, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

Here is  a tweet for your confirmation:

There were two counts of third-degree assault filed against him, along with charges of second-degree harassment, second-degree aggravated harassment, and third-degree attempted assault.
