When did Anthony Richardson Undergo the Surgical Procedure?
The Indianapolis Colts quarterback “Anthony Richardson” is under close scrutiny, so any word of surgery can worry the fan base. The Colts’ statement from Monday (July 31) doesn’t appear to be alarming though.
Anthony Richardson, a rookie quarterback recently underwent minor nose surgery to repair his nasal septum, the Indianapolis Colts reported on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Anthony Richardson had a procedure on his nose yesterday to correct his nasal septum. He will miss practice today and depending on how he feels we expect him to return tomorrow.

When Will Anthony Richardson be Back at Practice?
Richardson is expected to be back on the practice field no later than Thursday’s (August 3) training camp practice. It looks to be a small corrective operation that was probably unrelated to football and the recovery time appears to be modest.
All indications point to Richardson returning to the field later this week and for the time being, he’ll probably once again split repetitions with veteran Gardner Minshew with the first team.
Reading the opening sentence of the team’s tweet may have initially given some Colts supporters cause for concern because Richardson was not playing tomorrow. Richardson’s operation doesn’t seem to be something to be concerned about, though, and he might benefit just as much from a day of rest and movie-watching.
