Cardi B Throws Microphone at Fan During Concert

In a video of the incident that has now gone viral, Cardi can be seen performing while donning an orange dress and seems astonished when the drink is thrown her way. She was performing the smash song “Bodak Yellow.”

Cardi responded by throwing her microphone at the audience member in the front row, who security reportedly led away. She shouted at the person when security appeared to remove the fan from the outdoor performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas and retrieved her microphone.

A new camera angle of the incident which gives a closer view of the fan attempting to pour their cup toward Cardi who apparently continued performing after the mic toss was retweeted by the rapper after the incident.

You can notice in the tweet provided below that Cardi did not immediately leave the stage after throwing the mike as if nothing had happened.

Cardi’s on-stage retort comes after a number of singers this year have experienced item throwing at performances. Harry Styles knelt to the ground as he exited the stage earlier this month after a fan hit him in the eye with a flying object during his Love on Tour performance in Vienna.

After being struck, 29-year-old Styles quickly covered his face with his hand, paused and then got up from the ground while wearing a green sequined dress. This on-stage incident came after others involving celebrities including Bebe Rexha, Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Steve Lacy, Kid Cudi, and Pink, who were all the targets of concertgoers hurling things at or toward them in the middle of performances.
