Taylor Daniel Lautner is an American actor who was born on February 11, 1992. His most well-known role is that of werewolf Jacob Black in the 2008–2012 Twilight Saga film series. Following small roles in comedies like The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids, Lautner went on to voice characters in shows like What’s New, Scooby-Doo? (2005) and Danny Phantom.
He starred in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D and made an appearance in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 in 2005. He appeared in the 2011 action movie Abduction as well. Lautner played the son of the title character on the BBC sitcom Cuckoo from 2014 to 2018.
He portrayed Dr. Cassidy Cascade, a major character in the second season of the FOX black comedy series Scream Queens in 2016. Lautner’s transformation into a teen idol and s*x icon in the late 2000s came about as a result of him receiving media attention for his appearance and significantly altering his physique to continue playing Jacob Black in subsequent Twilight films.
He came in at number two on Glamour’s list of “The 50 Sexiest Men of 2010” and number four on People’s list of “Most Amazing Bodies” in 2010. Lautner was crowned the highest-paid teen actor in Hollywood that same year, as well.
