Marc Webb will be directing the next American musical fantasy picture “Snow White” and Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the screenplay. It is a live-action remake of Disney’s 1937 animated picture “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” which was largely based on the Brothers Grimm’s 1812 fairy tale of the same name.

It was co-produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Marc Platt Productions. Gal Gadot plays the Evil Queen in the movie which also stars Rachel Zegler as the title character. The casting of non-little people as characters who were once considered to be dwarfs has drawn controversy.
