Every time there is even the slightest change in a star’s appearance and fans start to assume that their favorite celebrities have undergone surgery. Like SZA many other celebrities have been the subject of numerous plastic surgery rumors.
When attending the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar party in California, singer SZA looked extremely lovely. However, if you were to contrast the singer’s images with her 2014 selfies, you would see a marked alteration in certain of her facial features. Fans said that the musician has undergone plastic surgery.
SZA Before Plastic Surgery: A Closer Look at Her Changing Features
When the breakout artist appeared at the BET Awards in 2017, she looked stunning. However, her nose and chin appear to have undergone some cosmetic surgery.
Fans find it rather fascinating that the artist has subsequently erased photographs that publications were claiming to imply she may have undergone surgery, even though the artist hasn’t publicly addressed these rumors.
Finally, in 2018 she talked about her nose. She denied all allegations that she underwent surgery on her nose by adding. She said:
“Everyone thinks I have a new nose?! I don’t have a new nose.”
She continued by describing how her nose had changed to fit her appearance when she was heavier. “I was heavier for three years and then my nose adjusted to that.” The singer said that her nose resembled the one in her baby photos as well.
“You can look at all my baby pictures when I’m younger and my nose looks like this, but five years ago when I came out as a singer, I was heavie, and my nose didn’t look like that.”
She denied news related to her surgery but the difference in her picture states that she had a nose surgery. You can see the difference in her nose in the image provided below:

What did SZA Say About Her Weight Loss?
To be fair, SZA had shed a few pounds by that point. She discussed her weight loss in 2017 while supporting Kendrick Lamar’s contentious lyrics about stretch marks. She said:
“If you want to support women, you should support all shapes of women… I used to be 200 pounds and I have stretch marks all over my body. I find more comfort and solace with Kendrick reinforcing that I’m beautiful.”
She mentioned that she was always at ease in her own skin as she was there at Dove’s Girl Collective Launch in 2018. She said:
“It’s all about where it starts in your mind, I think there are a lot of standards that people told me about that I didn’t see. I started, I was 190 pounds, I only wore my dad’s big t-shirts and socks on stage, no shoes, and didn’t even notice; never complained or tripped about my makeup.”
The singer also discussed her growth since then. She revealed:
“It was just a matter of where I was in my mind, but I did also come out of that space where I was like, I feel like I want to change. I want to be different. I want to grow. I want to learn. I think it’s one thing to be comfortable, but then it’s one thing to not see your full potential and your full picture. The standard should really come from within.”
