Dolph Lundgren is a Swedish actor, martial artist and director. His big break came in 1985 when he played the intimidating Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. Since then, Lundgren has appeared in over 80 movies, the majority of them being action movies.

Dolph Lundgren and Emma Krokdal are officially husband and wife. On July 13 on the Greek island of Mykonos, they exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony after three years of engagement.

They said in a joint statement:
“We chose to celebrate our love by getting married at our villa in Mykonos with family and a few close friends, With both COVID and a long road of challenging medical treatments, we’ve had to push our marriage plans many times.”
They continued:
“Now we felt it was finally the right time to celebrate love, life and happiness. In the land of the Gods.”
The star posted a picture of him and the Norwegian personal trainer kἰssing in a pool the day before their wedding. He captioned the post with a heart emoji, “Tomorrow is the day. Mykonos.”
According to her Instagram account, Krokdal is a Norwegian who lives in Los Angeles and is a trainer. Despite having relocated to California at an early age, Krokdal occasionally goes back to her own country.
Krokdal visited Norway in May 2023 and shared photos of her enjoying the scenery and traveling across the Nordic countryside. She captioned the photo, “Quick trip to the homeland.”

In June 2020, Lundgren proposed to Krokdal, a Norwegian personal trainer and posted a picture of his future wife flashing her engagement ring on Instagram. Lundgren wrote in the caption, “Something very special happened here in Sweden.”
The newlyweds initially connected at a West Hollywood Equinox, where they quickly bonded as friends. However, it took some time for passion to develop between them. In an interview with journalist Graham Bensinger in May, Lundgren said:
“I didn’t know why she liked me at all, but I suppose she saw something there. She didn’t know about my acting career, she didn’t know anything about me.”
At the premiere of Minions: The Rise of Gru in 2022, Lundgren brought Krokdal together with the actor’s daughters Ida and Greta. He said:
“I met her three years ago and she hasn’t been to a premiere yet because of COVID, so we’re really enjoying it.”
The Creed II, The Expendables and Aquaman star also told Bensinger that his wife was like an angel that was sent down to help him. He said:
“I feel like Emma is very mature for her age, for sure. She’s had an interesting life, She came over here from a small town in Norway. She was married here and she went through a difficult divorce and went through a lot of stuff that most young people her age don’t have to deal with.”
The couple hasn’t held back in talking about their affection for one another since they started dating. Krokdal captioned a photo of the couple, “I’ll say it again, real-life superhero right here. On-screen and off-screen.”
