The Island Boys are an especially divisive group of American rappers that often work together. They became famous after their videos went popular on TikTok.
Different haircuts, several tattoos, and diamond teeth give them away as island natives in every appearance. Most of their music features them singing about life on an island. Franky Venegas (Kodiyakredd) and Alex Venegas (Flyysouljah) are their stage names. Their TikTok following is massive.

“Um I just wanted to let y’all know that uh me and my brother, we are officially dating for a lot of people that are saying that we’re suss and we’re this and we were so close to each other and we stick by each other and this and that. Um I was pretty embarrassed to say but now I’m saying it I’m dating my brothers,” said Alex Venegas (Flyysouljah).
After some thought, Franky Venegas (Kodiyakredd) said, “Yeah we’re just saying it we’re dating each other.” As Alex Venegas emphasized, “So yeah, we’re with each other forever and that’s just the way it is.” [Online video platform]
The Islander’s girlfriend and he had a massive disagreement and broke up in February of 2022 after he moved in with her. The islander’s boyfriend claimed his girlfriend made derogatory comments about his s*xual orientation and attempted to justify herself on the video by saying she doesn’t care about him anymore.
Following the Island guys’ live confession that they are gay and have relationships with guys, many viewers felt compelled to send direct messages to the Island boys’ girlfriend, Monty, to break the news. The affair finally came to an end after the couple got into an online fight.

Are The Island Boys Broke?
In a podcast titled “No Jumper” on June 29th, Dovi Benzer announced that he no longer speaks for the Boys, despite having represented them during the February raid. Cameo was meant to give him a cut of their earnings, but they never did. He went on to say that the Island Boys owe him $150,000 and that they are in dire financial straits.
Cameo is a service where famous people can communicate with their fans through brief videos and messages for a fee. When Benzer was among them, “They were coming in hot,” he added. Every night for around three hours, we would jump right into cameos. They have no other means of financial support. …and that’s about the end of it. Despite Benzer’s accusations, the Island Boys have said nothing.
