The Curious Case of Natalia Grace is a documentary series based on Natalia and her parent who adopt her. This is real life story in which you can see Indiana couple Michel and Kristine Barnett adopted Natalia when she was 6 years old. She was diagnosed with a rare disease Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia in which congenital bone growth becomes the reason for dwarfism.
After some time the family was surprised to see that Natalie was looking much older than she is real. The family alleged that Natalia was not a child, she only pretends to be a child. Even though she is an adult and try to harm their family on several occasions. Luckily they won the case and Natalia ae was changed to 22 years old. And now the family rent an apartment for her and moved to Canada leaving her behind.
Again in 2019, the case was reopened to investigate Natalia’s real age. In 2022 Mr. Barnett went n trial to neglect of dependent. But in 2023 he was not found guilty and all his charges are dropped. But it is yet unclear what is reality. While Natalia says that she was eight years old when the family adopted her, the family said she was not a child as she pretends.
After watching the documentary audience also divide into two parts some show sympathy towards Natalia and some support Branett’s family. Now after watching the first season fans are waiting for the second season to know the whole matter.

When Will The Curious Case of Natalia Grace Season 2?
The first season was released on 29 May 2023 on Investigation Discovery and Max. Having estimated 10.3 million streams it was the highest-rated telecast of the channel. You can confirm from the below tweet:

Though the showrunner has not announced any new installment of the season, on 1 June 2023 they announced two hours follow-up titled The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks.
In the how Natalia will speak about all the allegations her adoptive parent made against her. Though they are not told about any release date for the two-hour show, definitely it will air soon. In the documentary, Natalia will get a chance to speak in front of people about all the ἀbuse, ableism, and neglect she faced during her life.
She said:
“Natalia will share her side of the story of what happened behind the closed doors of the Barnett family home and address allegations against her head-on.
After years of being cloaked under a gag order due to the subsequent legal proceedings around the 2019 arrest of her adoptive parents, Natalia has been unable to tell her story.”
What Has Natalia Said About Season 2 of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace?
In the series, she never gets a chance to share her opinions. That is why the two-hour show will be scheduled so that she can share her perspective.
“This is my side of the story, and I’m going to say what happened because I never got a chance to say what happened,” Natalia Grace said to ET Online.
“It’s frustrating. It’s very frustrating to hear everything that’s being said by Kristine and Michael. And because I already don’t know who I am and I want to know who I am and what happened to me, but I’m hearing all this stuff that never actually happened from Kristine and Michael,” Natalia added.
“Y’all have heard from Kristine and Michael and what they have said. But you need to hear both sides in order to know what happened.”
Despite this Hulu also filming another eight episodes series based on the same case including Ellen Pompeo as Kristine Barnett and Imogen Reid as Natalia Grace. No other information we received yet. Though the story has a lot to describe in the second season.
After Barnetts moved to Canada and left behind Natalia, another couple Antwon and Cynthia Mans adopted her but after some time they also denied.
