The Witcher series is now a real land of plenty. The world that Andrzej Sapkowski made seems to get bigger and bigger every day, what with the anime prequel and the many, many spinoffs that are being made right now. But everyone’s attention is still on Henry Cavill’s big show, and not just because Geralt is a good-looking guy.
The good news is that Netflix announced season three was coming before season two even came out. Also, seasons four and five have been announced, though there will be a big change in the cast. More to come on that.
The Witcher Season 3 Part 2 Release Date
On the show’s official Twitter account, it was said that the first part of the third season would be on Netflix on June 29, 2023, and the second part would be there on July 27, 2023. That’s almost a month between drops, so there’s plenty of time to figure out what the heck happened at the Conclave and to think about what might happen next.

How Many Episodes The Witcher Season 3 Has Left
The number of shows in each season of The Witcher on Netflix has been the same every time. Season 3 follows the same pattern as the two seasons before it and has a total of eight shows, but they aren’t all the same length. The Witcher season 3 part 1 has five episodes, and part 2 will have three more episodes. After the shocking finish of part 1, part 2 will have a lot to cover.
There are plenty of tv shows that are ongoing currently, we have covered some of those show’s release date:
The Witcher Season 3, Part 2 Story: What Part 1 Set Up
Even though The Witcher on Netflix has already changed a lot, each season is based on a different book or story from the series. The first season of The Witcher was based on The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny.
The second season was based on Blood of Elves, and the third season will be based on Time of Contempt. Part 1 of The Witcher season 3 set up some big events that Part 2 will have to cover in three episodes. The Thanedd coup is the most important of these events. During a meeting of mages in Aretuza, there was a fight between them.
Many mages died, and the Brotherhood of Sorcerers was broken up. King Vizimir wants to marry Ciri and take the throne of Cintra, while Emhyr var Emreis, also known as the White Flame, is still looking for his daughter Ciri.
Part 1 didn’t focus much on the White Flame’s goal, so hopefully the last episodes of The Witcher season 3 will show more of what he really wants for Ciri and the Continent. Also, the Wild Hunt keeps crossing into the Continent because they want to catch Ciri. This means that The Witcher season 3 Part 2 has a lot to cover.
