Taylor Armstrong is expressing her pride. On this week’s episode of “Real Housewives of Orange County” which aired just before the conclusion of Pride Month, the 52-year-old Bravo actress came out as bis*xual.
On Season 17 Episode 4, Taylor Armstrong had a secret to share with her co-stars. An ex-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and newcomer to RHOC expressly revealed to Tamra, Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter and Jennifer Pedranti that “I’m bis*xual.”
She said:
“Most people are surprised to find out that I’m bis*xual probably just because of stereotypes, It’s not something I broadcast, but I’m open to all people who have great souls that you can love.”
Armstrong revealed throughout the program that, before getting married to Russell Armstrong in 2005, she had been in a five-year relationship with a different lady. The pair, whose rocky marriage was a major plot point in the first season of “RHOBH” divorced after the first season.
Russell was accμsed of physical and verbal abμse by Taylor when she filed for divorce in July 2011 and these accμsations were also featured on the show. Weeks later, Russell dἰed in an incἰdent that was ultimately determined to be a suἰcide by hanging after rejecting his estranged wife’s accμsations.
Taylor remarried in 2014 to her current husband, John Bluher through whose deceἀsed husband she had Kennedy, a 17-year-old daughter. Armstrong is not the only housewife who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community, despite being rare.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke, a former “Orange County” castmate made history in 2020 as the first series star to come out as a lesbiἀn. Bis*xual Noella Bergener appeared for one season on “RHOC” beginning in 2021. The tennis player Martina Navratilova’s wife, Julia Lemigova, also joined “Miami” in its fourth season that same year.

What did Andy Cohen say About Taylor’s Identity?
On the Watch What Happens Live segment from June 28, Andy Cohen brought up Taylor’s admission telling the RHOC newcomer, “Didn’t realize you were bis*xual. That was revealed to us tonight! That’s a major story.”
Taylor said:
“Yeah, it was big news — I think for a lot of people, Maybe including my mother.”
Andy’s response? Turning to the camera, he said:
“Hey mom, hope you enjoyed Taylor on [The Real Housewives of] Orange County!”
