Season 5 of Mayans M.C. is almost over, but that hasn’t prevented the crime drama from giving viewers plenty of emotional moments. The seventh episode is named “The Fear of Deἀth, I Eat Stars,” and it features the deἀths of two major characters.

Why did Carla Baratta Decide to Leave ‘Mayans M.C.’ After So Many Seasons?
Carla said that she left the show so that she could be closer to her family in Colombia. I’m originally from Venezuela, but I decided to spend a few months in Colombia to get a feel for the place. I think it was important for us to have our loved ones around.
Carla elaborated-
“It was just me and my husband and my kids [in California], and it was a long six years. I feel like we needed to be around Latinos and around our culture. I want to do some theater here while I get something that I really want to work on. … I’m excited to see what’s next.”
She told Deadline that she “needed to just separate myself a little bit from the Mayans world, and I needed the mental and physical space to rid myself of the heaviness of this character.”
