Sena, Aran, Kina, and Sio of the band Fifty Fifty have issued a statement saying they have taken legal action to terminate their contracts with their management company Attrakt.
On June 28th, Sana, Kina, Aran, and Sio’s legal lawyers at Barun announced that they had applied to have their exclusive deal with Attract temporarily suspended. Members, they said, asked the Seoul Central District Court to temporarily halt the exclusive contract on June 19th, and a hearing on the matter is presently proceeding.

The band Fifty Fifty rose to prominence with their song “Cupid,” which was published in February and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart to much acclaim.
Attrakt has been saying for the past week that unnamed outsiders approached Fifty Fifty on the 23rd, and the company’s CEO has even given an interview promising to name people and fight to keep the members.
The agency submitted Warner Music Korea a statement of proof and an explanation demand later on the 26th. Warner Music Korea has issued a statement to the press denying the allegations and expressing remorse that rumors of this nature have been propagated.

The agency also claimed that unnamed foreign forces were responsible for the closure of the group’s fan café on June 27. They went back and got the fan cafe. The agency’s CEO later revealed in a press statement that he had launched a lawsuit against The Givers’ producer and CEO, An Sung-il, as well as three others, on the grounds that they were the external force aiming to poach the members.
