Drake has announced the upcoming release of a new studio album. On Saturday (June 24), the Toronto MC announced his first poetry book and hinted at an upcoming musical effort.
Drizzy advertised his new poetry collection Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness by Aubrey Drake Graham and Kenza Samir with a full-page spread in major newspapers like the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Houston Chronicle. A QR code in the ad promoted access to titlesruineverything.com, where the rapper gave a sneak peek of his upcoming studio effort.
“I made an album to go with the book,” Drake wrote on the site. “They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.”
The album has not yet announced a release date. The new album is the follow-up to the six gods’ previous chart-topping efforts in 2022 and 2021, Honestly, Nevermind and Certified Lover Boy.
Drake posted on Instagram on Friday (June 23) that he and his songwriting partner Samir have released a book of songs, poems, and one-liners titled Titles Ruin Everything. You may acquire a copy of the text from the publisher, Phaidon and drakerelated.com.
“I don’t know if I have ever wanted people to buy or support something more in my life…our first book is available tmrw on @drakerelated and other select retailers,” the rapper captioned a photo of the all-blue poetry book.
