The women’s basketball community considers “Candace Parker” to be a legend and she added the Las Vegas Aces’ convincing victory over the Minnesota Lynx in her career. You can see Candace Parker playing in the video provided below:

Candace Parker is the only player in WNBA history to have 6,500+ points, 3,000+ rebounds, 1,500+ assists, 600+ blocks and 500+ steals.

Although Parker’s WNBA career is outstanding on its own, she has been dominant since her collegiate days with the Tennessee basketball club.

In her 16th WNBA season, she is still making a difference for a top club. With a 92-63 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, June 18, 2023 the Aces improved to 10-1. As the league’s defending champions, they hold the best record.

Parker wants to participate in the championship this time. She played with the Chicago Sky in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, winning the championship in 2021.

Parker began her career with the Los Angeles Sparks in 2008 after winning two national titles with the Tennessee basketball program. She played for the Sparks for 13 seasons and in 2016, the squad helped her win her first WNBA title.

She still contributes to the WNBA team with the best record even if she is no longer the player expected to lead the club—that is up to others like A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum.

The Connecticut Sun and New York Liberty appear to be the Aces’ main rivals for the title. That is not surprising. The Sun and Aces squared off in the championship game the previous season and the Liberty assembled what is regarded as a powerhouse squad by adding Breanna Stewart and other free agents.
