New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has boldly proclaimed his intention to lead the NPP to electoral success in 2024.
The former commerce minister has stated that he will lead the NPP to prosperity and stability as the future President of the Fourth Republic. These statements were made by the politician on Tuesday, June 12, 2023, when he submitted his nomination papers to become the NPP’s presidential candidate.

When he is elected president in 2024, the former minister of trade and industry claims he will usher in a new period of stability, growth and prosperity for the country.
“By the grace of God, I will lead this great party (NPP) into historic Victory in December 2024 and usher into Ghana, a new era of stability, growth and prosperity. So help me God.”
On Monday, June 12, 2023, New Patriotic Party flagbearer candidate Alan Kyerematen submitted his nomination paperwork. He has submitted his candidacy paperwork to participate in the next NPP primaries.
He said: “Today, I filed my nomination forms to contest as flagbearer of my party, NPP.”

He is one of eleven candidates running for the leadership of the ruling party. He is still one of the top three candidates, but he knows he has to improve.
He has begun an intensive campaign to have the NPP delegates select him as their candidate for president in the 2024 election. On November 4, 2023, the NPP will conduct its National Congress and on February 24, 2024, the party will hold its primaries for president and congress.
At the NPP Headquarters in Accra on Monday, June 12 to file the nominations were both sitting and past Members of Parliament, as well as some party heavy hitters. The action makes him the first potential flagbearer to file his nominations and the former Ghanaian ambassador to the United States.
Deputy Finance Minister Abena Osei Asare, who represents the Atewa East Constituency and Minister for Railways Development John-Peter Amewu, who represents the Hohoe Constituency joined Alan Kyerematen in the House of Representatives.
