Sajak shared his departure news from the show with his cohost White who is 66, he opened it on social media to support his friend. “When we started @WheelofFotune who could have imagined we’d still be at it 41 seasons later?”

He and Vanna White are former friends and both shared the screen for the last 40 years, as they said “We’ve been together for, like, 38 years and he’s like my brother,” “He’s funny. I mean, we could finish each other’s sentences if we wanted to. We know each other that well.”

Sajak also respond over it about his friendship with White during an interview at Paley Center for Media in New York City in 2017, “I can’t imagine being up there with someone else.” Now the question is who will replace Sajak better?
“Pat’s a legend. I mean, over 40 years and the price of a vowel has not gone up one penny. Like, nobody controlled inflation like Pat Sajak,” Jennings, 78, joked. “I mean, Jeopardy had its succession crisis. Hopefully, ‘Wheel’s’ got an envelope saying what happens when Pat packs it in.”
