Medical professionals claimed that the athlete may have had issues like eclampsia and respiratory distress and is the reason of her deἀth as well as the baby’s deἀth as the infant was in the womb of her mother.
Eclampsia, a medical emergency that can result in a coma or deἀth occurs when a pregnant woman with preeclampsia starts having seizures. Preeclampsia, a disorder of high blood pressure and kidney damage during pregnancy is frequent and affects as many as 1 in 25 pregnancies in the U.S., whereas eclampsia is more uncommon.
Black women have a 60% higher preeclampsia risk than white women do and they are more likely to experience severe preeclampsia, according to the Preeclampsia Foundation a nonprofit organization with headquarters in the United States.
Being Black is also one of the “moderate risk” factors for preeclampsia, a disorder for which the precise etiology is unknown. The medical examiner said that Bowie dἰed of natural causes which anyone can face during pregnancy. Bowie did not have any drμgs or alc0hol in her system.
