Matte Babel is the boyfriend of Shay Mitchell. He is a well-known Canadian actor, host and producer who was born on October 13, 1980. He has contributed to numerous productions throughout the years, such as Chillin Island, Entertainment Tonight Canada, and Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Despite Mitchell’s fame as an actress, the pair of Babel and the star of Pretty Little Liars have managed to keep their romance a secret.
After experiencing a mἰscἀrriage in 2018, the couple reportedly started a relationship in January 2017 and welcomed their first child, Atlas Noa Babel, the following year. In an interview in August 2021, Mitchell claimed they are not in a rush to be married.
She confessed:
“I don’t know if I’ve done anything in order. I didn’t have children before I got married. I had a child but never wed. I’m unsure if that is in the cards for us. We both seem to agree, although it might just be me.”
She continued:
“This place doesn’t feel rushed. My favorite. Every day when we go home, I love to say, I choose you and you choose me. It keeps us vigilant. I say, Hey, I can leave. I can leave without using a lawyer; I don’t have to.”
The pair gained notoriety in February 2022 after Mitchell’s second pregnancy was made public.
