In a Kansas restaurant in February, Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is said to have done something very bad, according to a court record.
Authorities in Overland Park, Kansas, first got a call on February 25 from a man who said Jackson Mahomes had pushed his son, who worked at Aspens Restaurant. The restaurant worker told the police that when Mahomes tried to get his water bottle from the office, he shoved him.
Sources say that Mahomes tried to apologize to the worker later. Supposedly, the event was caught on surveillance video. The investigators then talked to the restaurant’s owner, and that’s when the claims got more serious.
Do you know that Andrew McCabe, a senior FBI official who was fired by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions in 2018, says he stood by the original Russia investigation into Donald Trump even after the Durham report revealed that the probe had no solid basis:
The woman said that Mahomes wanted to talk to her, so the two of them went into the office, where the TikTok star shut the door behind them. Once they got into the office, the owner said, he grabbed her by the throat, pushed her head back, and kissed her three times.
The woman told him she didn’t want to go through with it, and she pushed him away. She says that Mahomes told her not to tell anyone what had happened. The woman reportedly told two servers what happened and showed them her neck ἰnjuries, the document says.
Mahomes supposedly went back to the office to tell the woman what he would do for her business, and he wouldn’t leave until she gave him a hug. According to a statement, the woman said she told her boyfriend what happened, and he kicked Mahomes and his group out of the restaurant.
Mahomes is expected to return to court for a ruling on a motion to modify his bond. He asked to talk to witnesses in the case, as long as they didn’t talk about the charges.
In Johnson County, Kansas, the 22-year-old was charged with three counts of aggravated s*xual battery and one count of battery as a result of an incident that occurred last week. Mahomes paid a $100,000 bond, and the terms of the bond said that he and his lawyer couldn’t talk about the case in public.
Before Mahomes was officially charged, in March, his lawyer said that the claims were not true. Davies told the Kansas City Star –
“Jackson has done nothing wrong.”
“Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
