Renee Blair, a famous country singer is about to start a new chapter in her life. The “Holy Cowboy” singer is expecting her first child with her husband Jordan Schmidt, a music producer. She told:
“If I’ve learned anything about life thus far, it’s to expect the unexpected! We got married and got pregnant all in what seemed like the same breath.”
After five years together as a couple, Blair and Schmidt tied the knot in Nashville last year. It wasn’t in the cards for them to start a family so quickly, but the fact that Blair will be showing off her growing baby belly at Thursday, May 11, 2023 night’s Academy of Country Music Awards makes the news all the more exciting.
She says:
“I was originally hoping to get pregnant right now actually, in May 2023. On our h0neymoon in Italy which has now been postponed for two wonderful reasons: the pregnancy and because Mom and Dad are nominated for ACM song of the year for co-writing HARDY’s Wait in the Truck.”
Blair continued:
“I’m excited to be nominated for my first ACM alongside my husband and also showing our son one day that we were thriving and living at an all-time high while he was growing in my belly!”
Schmidt expresses a similar viewpoint and said:
“I’m so excited to share this moment with my wife and our unborn child and I can’t wait for the day we show him pictures of how he was at the 58th ACMs!”
Blair continues:
“We haven’t shared the news with the world on social media since I’ve been touring for the past several months and just released the first single “Holy Cowboy” off my upcoming album, Hillbetty, which will be out later this year. I was hesitant to tour after learning I was pregnant.”
She said that I was motivated to follow suit in front of my audiences every night and it created such a memorable experience with the crowd after seeing Rihanna show off her bump at the Super Bow.
