It appears like Andy Cohen had the same shock as viewers when Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann broke up on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” On his program “Andy Cohen Live” on SiriusXM, the Bravo producer and host admitted that he was “very surprised” to learn that the couple was splitting.
Cohen remarked:
“That was not the news I ever anticipated to get. They appeared to be inseparable and deeply in love. They were a pair that, yes, I believed was committed to the relationship for the long term.”
According to court records acquired, Biermann is requesting custody of the four children who are now under Zolciak’s care: twins Kaia and Kane, born in 2013, son Kroy, born in 2011 and son Kash, born in 2012.
Brielle and Ariana, Zolciak’s now-adult kids from a previous relationship, were also adopted by Biermann. In 2011, the couple was hitched.

Cohen revealed on air that he has been in touch with Zolciak, who was a founding member of the Atlanta “Housewives” ensemble before her family rose to prominence in the “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” spinoff.
Cohen stated:
“I emailed Kim briefly yesterday and conveyed my condolences because it’s a horrible situation. They have kids, and that was just a couple that seemed to be very much in love.”
