Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 New Character Designs

As the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (later this Summer) draws near, the anime is giving us a closer look at the character designs for young Kento Nanami and many other new characters that we’ll be seeing in Season 2!

Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fusiguro and Nobara Kugisaki will engage in more fierce battles than ever before. However, the anime must first spend some time filling up some historical gaps before it can reach that stage.

The Hidden Inventory and Premature Deἀth arcs from Gege Akutami’s original Jujutsu Kaisen manga will open Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. These two arcs are collectively referred to by fans as the Gojo’s Past saga because they take place in 2006, years before the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1.

This enables the series to introduce some new characters while also giving previously introduced characters new looks since Jujutsu Tech enrollment coincides with this.

The new Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 character designs can be seen below:

The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will begin airing on July 6 and is expected to consist of two episodes because it will cover both the Gojo’s Past and Shibuya Incident storylines.

Gojo and Geto are on a mission that is extremely crucial for the series’ future events, which we see unfold over the length of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and the upcoming Shibuya Incident Arc in Season 2. During this initial wave of episodes, they guard a person who is extremely important.

The Gojo’s Past arc appears to be getting a little more depth because it will not only feature younger versions of several characters we didn’t get to see much of in the manga’s retelling of the events but also some newer characters.

It won’t be long until we learn how this flashback fills in some important details because Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is coming in just a few more months.

Takehito Koyasu and Anna Nagase both joined the voice cast as Riko Amanai and Toji Fushiguro, two characters who are beloved by the audience. Roles from the main cast are being reprised. They are Aya Endo as Shoko Ieiri, Yuichi Nakamura as Satoru Gojo and Takahiro Sakurai as Suguru Geto.

The franchise’s first 24-episode season and feature were both animated by Studio MAPPA. The original manga, which is translated into English by VIZ Media was written and illustrated by Akutami Gege.
