Barry Season 4 Finale Recap: “It Takes a Psycho”

At the outset of this week’s episode, we see a chopper leaving the prison grounds in pursuit of Barry Berkman (Bill Hader). Since Fuches (Stephen Root) was yelling about Bill’s murder inside the prison, the police beat him as the sirens wailed outside.

The Warden demands to know how the killers were able to gain entry to the prison. He is at a loss for words and unable to defend himself while he is mercilessly thrashed. He keeps coming back with deep bruises from being pummeled.

Tom (Fred Melamed) and Leo (Andrew Leeds) on the outside make the call to isolate Gene (Henry Winkler) in an outstation house by cutting off his access to the outside world. His ex-girlfriend Janice (Paula Newsome) was murdered in this very mansion.

Gen begs Leo to let him go, saying that he done terrible things in order to keep his family safe. Gene wants to know how to place an order at the Coral Tree Café. Just scoffing, Leo. When his father acts like a child, what more can he do?
