Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce. They are going to quote after 17 years of marriage. They got married in 2004. Before marriage, they date each other for six years. The reason behind the divorce is citing irreconcilable differences. They have three children Cayden 15, Hayes 14, and Grace 12. Costner has four other children from his previous partner.
Costner’s representative confirmed this news by saying, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.” He also requests to keep secret their children’s privacy.
According to People, in 2022 Costner spoke openly that “My wife does things that just completely… It just helps. The house is prettier because of her. Everything is warmer because of her. There’s these little things that she does and I think it’s the power of love, but that she makes her home that way.”
Costner married Cindy Silva before Christina, but after sixteen years he divorced her in 1994. Costner’s recently popular series was “Yellowstone” in which he played the role of Montana patriarch John Dutton. His upcoming project is “Horizon” a Western film.

Before the pandemic COVID-19 he praised his wife. During his last year interview, he said, “Our partnership has really come into focus about what we do for each other and how we deal with our family.”
He added, “Our house is like a river: You’ve just got to get into the flow of it. And whatever you thought it was going to be, maybe it still can, but it’s going to have to work with what the day brings.”
It is Baumgartner’s first wish to start a family, as she clears everything before marriage, “If you’re going to be with me, you need to know that kids are at the end of the road for me with you if that’s going to happen.”

It seems that Costner’s series Yellowstone will return in 2023 for its fifth season. Keith Cox, president of development and production, said that possibly Costner may be returned with the new season.
“What I can say is our star, the face of our show, and the executive producer, are very confident he’s going to continue with our show,” Cox said.
