Who is Dominic Purcell?
Dominic Haakon Purcell born on February 17, 1970, is a British-Australian actor. He is most recognized for his roles as Drake/Dracula in Blade: Trinity, Lincoln Burrows/Lincoln Burrows in Prison Break, Mick Rory/Heat Wave in The Flash and Lincoln Burrows/Lincoln Burrows on The Legends of Tomorrow.
In the 2004 movie Three-Way, he played Lewis “Lew” Brookbank which made him famous. In Wallasey, Cheshire, England, Purcell was born. He is the son of Maureen Purcell and Phil Myrtvedt. His father was of Norwegian and English ancestry, while his mother was Irish.
He and his family moved to Bondi, New South Wales, Australia, in 1972 and then to Penrith in Western Sydney. He attended McCarthy Catholic College in Emu Plains, St Dominic’s College, Blaxland High School and St Finbars Primary School.
After studying at the Australian Theatre for Young People, he enrolled at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where Hugh Jackman was his teacher. He has three nationalities: British, Irish and Australian.
He is British since he was born in the UK before 1983 when the country repealed unconditional birthright citizenship and he is naturally Irish because his mother is Irish.
The Love Life of Dominic Purcell
From 1998 through 2008, Purcell and Rebecca Williamson were wed and during that time they had four kids. AnnaLynne McCord, a former actress and Purcell began a relationship in 2011. In 2014, they announced their amicable breakup, but a year later they resumed their romance.
When the actor was given a skin cancer diagnosis, McCord told that she returned to his life as a friend, but the couple soon started a relationship once more. McCord dissolved their relationship in January 2018.
He began his relationship with Tish Cyrus, the ex-wife of country music legend Billy Ray Cyrus and the mother of Brandi, Trace, Noah and Miley Cyrus in November 2022.
