They said “I do” to Karen Gillan, and she said “Yes!” The Guardians of the Galaxy star, now 35 years old, disclosed last May that she and her boyfriend, Nick Kocher, had discreetly tied the knot in Scotland by posting a series of wedding photos to Instagram.
“Last May…by @hollyclarkphotography,” she captioned the photos, which included an image of her looking elegant in a white strapless Oscar de la Renta gown with a fitted bodice and flowing train.

The wedding took place at Castle Toward in her native Scotland, and the post contained photos of a bagpipe player, bridesmaids in brown silk dresses, and the comedian groom in full Highland regalia.
Bodies, Bodies, Bodies actress Maria Bakalova commented on the snaps with a single red heart emoji. Meanwhile, co-creative director of Oscar de la Renta, Fernandez Garcia, added in the comments section, “Karennnnnn!!!.”
“Thank you for the beautiful beautiful dress!!!,” Gillan responded.

Wedding planner Sarah Haywood and photographer Holly Clark both shared photos of Gillan getting ready for her big day. Gillan is shown in the shot laughing while wearing a light white robe and letting her hair down in loose waves.
“Beautiful @karengillan on the morning of her wedding day. Details of Karen’s Scottish celebrations will remain private however of course, Karen looked absolutely incredible and the speeches were some of the funniest we’ve ever heard!” they wrote on Instagram.
In November 2022, Gillan posted a photo to Instagram showing her left hand adorned with an emerald and diamond ring and a silver band, sparking rumors that she had recently tied the knot with her new husband.
Until the Scottish actor made the announcement on Wednesday, neither had confirmed the news.
