English actor and director Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman pἀssed away on January 14, 2016 at the age of 72. He enrolled at RADA (the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) in London and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company appearing in both contemporary and traditional theater performances.

He is renowned for his deep, languid voice. He portrayed the Vicomte de Valmont in the Les Liaisons Dangereuses stage production by the RSC in 1985 and after the performance moved to the West End in 1986 and Broadway in 1987, he received a Tony Award nomination.

There have been rumors that the celebrity may have a daughter. Fans are keen to find out whether this rumor is genuine.

Rima Horton is Alan’s wife and a Labour Party member of Kensington and Chelsea London Borough Council and an economics lecturer at Kingston University in London. Alan first met her in 1965 when she was 18 years old and Rima was 19 years old.

They were wed in a secret ceremony in New York City in 2012. The two of them shared a home from 1977 until Rickman’s pἀssing. Sources said, The couple didn’t have any kids. Rickman was the godfather of fellow actor Tom Burke.

Alan Rickman was born on February 21, 1946, in London. Margaret Doreen Rose his mother is a homemaker. Bernard William Rickman, his father was a painter, decorator and manufacturing worker in addition to serving as an airplane fitter during World War II.

Both his mother and paternal grandmother were of Welsh and Irish descent. His parents were both Christians; his dad was Catholic and his mom was Methodist. His sibling roster included a sister named Sheila and brothers named David and Michael.

The tight jaw Rickman was born with likely contributed to his signature deep voice and relaxed delivery. Rickman claimed that his vocal coach informed him he had a “spastic soft palate”. He was just eight years old when his father pἀssed away from cancer, leaving his mother to raise him and his three siblings almost entirely on her own.

His mother worked as a postal worker as she raised four children on her own after the family was rehoused by the council and moved to an Acton estate to the west of Wormwood Scrubs Prison. After three years of marriage to Rickman’s stepfather, Margaret Rickman filed for divorce in 1960.
