Red Table Talk has been unfriended by Facebook. Jada Pinkett Smith, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and their daughter Willow Smith’s online discussion show Red Table discussion has ended after five seasons on the social media platform. On social media, Jada revealed that the Facebook Watch series had indeed been canceled.
The 51-year-old said on Instagram on April 27: “We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband.”
The star of Girls Trip did say that there is still a chance to join the red table, though, saying, “We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we’ll see you soon.”
According to Deadline, Facebook’s decision to discontinue the show is related to the company’s emphasis on VR content.
Jada and Willow have thought a lot about the program and what it has meant to them over the years.
Willow told Rolling Stone in February 2021, “We saw how much it helps us,” after it was revealed that the show was based on actual chats she has with her mother and grandma. The revelations made us go, ‘Wow, this is really illuminating some things. I’m curious if we can share this sensation with other people.
What is the point of the show, anyway? Jada admitted that she was “expanding the empire.” Knowing that many people tend to lump all black women together, it is fascinating to hear the differing opinions of three black women at once. That falsehood must be exposed.

In 2019, Red Table Talk aired an interview with Jordyn Woods, in which Woods shared her side of the cheating controversy involving Khloe Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
“I didn’t want to be that person,” Jordyn sobbed to Jada. I’m not a person who goes around trying to destroy families, and certainly not the one of someone I care about who also happens to have a lovely little girl. I’m not in need of your predicament, so there’s no way I’d ever try to take someone else’s man. By not being honest, I have caused even more harm.
