The Emmy-winning series “Black Mirror” published a trailer for its upcoming sixth season on April 26. Season six of the British anthology series created by Charlie Brooker is set to launch in June and is described as “the most unpredictable season yet” by streaming service Netflix.

Season 3 of the critically acclaimed show would reportedly feature content that Brooker “previously sworn blind the show would never do,” as reported by Netflix. “The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through-and-through — but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before,” Brooker said to Netflix.

On Wednesday 26 April, a teaser trailer for the highly anticipated dystopian series was released by Netflix. Brooker has given fans an indication that this season will be different from others, in which each episode stands on its own.

“In my opinion, there’s no sense in making Black Mirror if the episodes don’t have a lot of variety and don’t continually shock viewers, including myself. The writer-producer reportedly told Netflix that the show “should be a series that can’t be easily defined and can keep reinventing itself.”

Actors such as Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad”), Danny Ramirez (“Top Gun: Maverick”), Michael Cera (“Arrested Development”), Zazie Beetz ( “Atlanta”), and Salma Hayek Pinault ( “House of Gucci”) will be included in the show.

Netflix has not revealed how many episodes will be available or when the show will officially debut.
