RIP Keith Gattis.
Yet again, bad news travels faster than any good news that you hear.
He was a master songwriter, producer and guitar player. We will have much more on his musical impact in the coming days.
For now, we pray for his family and friends. pic.twitter.com/iaXWHblLxm

Who was Keith Gattis? Information on the Country Music Star
Keith Gattis kicked off his musical career as a teenager playing open mics and other small venues across Texas after being born in Georgetown on May 26, 1971.
When he signed with RCA Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee, he moved there. Soon after, with the help of songs like “Real Deal” and “Little Drops of My Heart,” he became a major star in the country music industry. His official website makes mention of how Tom Petty and the Eagles are influenced.
Musicrow claims that despite Keith Gattis’s rising popularity, the two singles he released did not do well commercially. Moving to the West Coast, he worked with Dwight Yoakam and recorded the album Big City Blues in 2005. Songs like “El Cerrito Place” have made the CD a hit. Together with Kendell Marvel, he contributed to the Honky Tonk Experience.
Marvel has discussed their time spent working with Gattis since his pἀassing. What he said was:
“We made my first record together and wrote most of the songs. Hell, we started The Honky Tonk Experience together. He was not only a great guitar slinger/ songwriter/singer/producer, he was also a great friend and an even better dad to his babies and husband to Penny.”
In 2019, Randy Houser’s album Magnolia brought Keith Gattis to prominence at Pioneertown Recording Studio, where he worked as a co-producer.
