Who is Harry Belafonte’s Wife?
Harry Belafonte married three times. While serving in the Navy in Virginia in 1944, Belafonte met his future first wife Marguerite. They married on June 18, 1948 and had two daughters, Adrienne and Shari Belafonte. They divorced in 1954, while Marguerite was pregnant with Shari.
Belafonte married his costar and second wife, Julie Robinson shortly after his divorce from Marguerite. Gina and David, the couple’s children. After 47 years of marriage, Belafonte and Robinson divorced in 2004. Belafonte married his third wife, photojournalist Pamela Frank in 2008.
She has two children from a previous relationship, Sarah and Lindsey. Frank did accompany Belafonte on several occasions during their marriage including the NAACP Image Awards in 2013 and the Broadway premiere of Michael Moore in 2017.
She was also there when Belafonte got the French government’s National Order of the Legion of Honour in 2021. The two kept their relationship details pretty hidden throughout the years, not much is known about Frank’s personal life.
