The Bear is an American comedy-drama television series created by Christopher Storer. Hulu debuted the series on June 23, 2022. It stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Abby Elliott.
The series has been well-received by critics who have praised both the show’s direction and the acting of its cast members. It was renewed for a second season in July 2022 with the new episodes debuting in June 2023.

After his brother Mikey (Jon Bernthal) commits himself, the show’s protagonist, Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) returns to Chicago to restore the failing family sandwich shop, The Original Beef of Chicagoland.
Carmy’s grief-fueled persistence ultimately leads to his downfall just ask sous chef Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) who finds herself on the receiving end of his risotto-triggered rage. The staff including Mikey’s best friend Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) resists and sometimes even sabotages Carmy’s efforts.
White has received a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Critics’ Choice Award for his work in Season 1 of the critἰcally acclaimed series and he is almost certain to be nominated for an Emmy when the nominations are revealed in July.

Will Bear Season 2 be available to watch on Other Platforms?
The Bear season one is completely streamable on Hulu. In June Hulu will begin streaming the whole second season. The Bear is not available on Netflix.
FX’s President of Entertainment, Eric Schrier issued the following statement:

Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce and Liza Colón-Zayas all give excellent supporting performances, but it is Jeremy Allen White who steals the show as the protagonist. Season 2 is something we can’t wait to get started on.”
