Some names immediately spring to mind when considering the greatest Star Trek villains, and more especially, the greatest nemeses of Jean-Luc Picard. Q (who may or may not be benign), Gul Madred (a torturer), the Borg Queen, and Nagilum (who may or may not be a joke).
Thus, it was inevitable that the Borg Queen would make an appearance in episode 10 of Star Trek: Picard’s third season. Here is everything we know about the Borg Queen’s eventual return.
Who is Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard Season 3?
The Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact is the same one as Star Trek: Picard season 3. The Borg Queen is the one who converted Jean-Luc Picard into Locutus the Borg through assimilation; Picard overcame her by destroying her vital organs with plasma coolant.
The Borg Queen, however, managed to stay alive by sucking the vitality out of her drones. She then attempted to destroy the Federation permanently by using her link to Jack Crusher to lure him to her and carry out her scheme of revenge.
Is it true that the Borg Queen perished at the end of Star Trek: Picard season 3?
After the events of Star Trek: Picard season 3, it appears that the Borg Queen is permanently deἀd. She appears to have been the last surviving Borg in the Alpha Quadrant until the Enterprise-D destroyed the Borg cube she was living in.

Who plays the Borg Queen in Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard?
Alice Krige, who voiced the Borg Queen in First Contact, returns to the character in Star Trek: Picard Season 3. Yet, as Jonathan Frakes revealed, “there was a body double who played the Borg and did the lines” (Krige wasn’t actually present during filming). The actress’s performance was overdubbed with Alice’s voice.
The late Annie Wersching gave a fantastic performance as the Borg Queen in season 2 of Picard (from an alternate reality, we should note). However, this is not the same Borg Queen, so please keep them apart.
