Audiences eagerly await each new season of The Masked Singer to find out which famous faces are hiding behind the masks. Season 9 of “The Masked Singer” debuted on February 15 with a jam-packed episode featuring a trio of performers.
After it was discovered that the Gnome was television legend Dick Van Dyke, the celebrities dressed as Medusa and Mustang engaged in a sing-off to the song “Diamonds” by Rihanna.
On February 16, Medusa appeared in the season nine premiere and completely wowed viewers. Medusa’s clue package contained some huge hints that helped the audience figure out who she was. She said before her performance, I grew up far from the spotlight, a dancer in the dark and I was never really accepted by the group.

Who is Medusa in The Masked Singer?
Even though it was primarily a recap episode, both Medusa and Gargoyle provided fresh information regarding their true identities. As for the clues, Medusa displayed a piano and a dragon while Gargoyle showed off a “Kool Aliens” video game and a tic-tac-toe board.
Fans were disappointed that there were no eliminations on this episode, despite the additional information provided. Some even express their disappointment, calling it an “empty episode”.
According to sources, We are certain that the British singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs best known for her popular ballad “River,” is Medusa. The character Queen of Hearts, who later went on to win the Golden Mask before being identified as Jewel, sang that song in episode 7 of season 6.
A relation to “The Masked Singer” stage was mentioned by Medusa. The chess bishop included in the clue package was a nod to her given name. Fans have deduced that the singer who was born in London is hiding behind the mask because of all the hints pointing to England.
