It is shocking news that a homeowner sh0t a teenage black boy just because he ring his home bel by mistake. It happened in Kansas City, Missouri, according to police. Police report that on 13 April they were informed by a call and then they reached the sh00ting spot out of a house residence.
After sh00ting in his head he went to be wounded and taken to a local hospital and now he was out of danger according to police reports on Sunday. His parent ordered him to pickup up his sibling giving him the address 115th Terrace, but unfortunately, he reached home number 115th Street, so that’s why he was sh0t.
Later he was identified as Ralph Yarl, who is 16 and completing his education at Old High School. Attorney S. Lee Merritt and Benjamin Crump related to the victim and family said, “Despite the severity of his injuries and the seriousness of his condition, Ralph is alive and recovering.”
But that homeowner was not identified yet, and released after one day under custody. For more investigations and evidence they have to release him said Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said in a news conference Sunday(16 April).
Graved said that within 24 hours they have to charge the person they kept under custody, otherwise they have to release him, according to Missouri state law.
After the sh00ting, several people gathered there, and a protest march took place chanting, “Justice for Ralph” and “Black lives matter,” and carrying signs reading, “Ringing a doorbell is not a crime” and “The shooter should do the time.”
“We demand swift action from Clay County prosecutors and law enforcement to identify, arrest and prosecute to the full extent of the law the man responsible for this horrendous and unjustifiable sh00ting,” the victim’s attorneys said.

The police chief said, “The information that we have now, does not say that that is racially motivated. That’s still an active investigation. But as a chief of police, I do recognize the racial components of this case.” Grave gave a commitment to the victim’s family to do justice for their child. “We recognize the frustration this can cause in the entire criminal justice process. The women and men of the Kansas City Police Department are working as expeditiously and as thoroughly as we can, to ensure the criminal justice process continues to advance as quickly as all involved and our community deserve,” Graves said.
“As a parent, I certainly feel for the mother of the victim and others in the family. My heart goes out to them,” Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas added.
Identified as Yarl’s aunt, Faith Spoonmore, asked people to help with their son’s treatment and nearly $529,000 in donations was gathered from the public.
His aunt said that Yarl wants to complete his education but before entering college he wants to visit West Africa for chemical engineering. She also said that he is a band leader in his musical group. Halle Berry criticizes the act in her below tweet:
