The fourth season cast of Netflix’s reality dating show “Love is Blind” was supposed to reunite live on the streaming service’s homepage on Sunday, April 16, 2023, but the event was postponed for almost an hour.
Netflix decided to record it and make it available for viewing at a later time. Since the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not go as planned, Netflix issued the following tweet as an apology to its viewers: “To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned”.
To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We’re filming it now and we’ll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and…

On Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, Netflix was scheduled to air its second live show. Netflix said on Twitter, a few minutes after the show was supposed to begin, “Love is … late. #LoveIsBlindLIVE will be on in 15 minutes!”
The streaming service then said the program will be worth the wait a few minutes later. A screen reading “It’s almost time!” greeted Netflix members who attempted to access the service. Soon, the real thing will begin.
The streaming service isn’t as well-versed in broadcasting live events as its rivals. Live streaming has been a boon for Netflix’s competitors.
Last year, Amazon Prime began broadcasting Thursday Night Football. Apple has teamed up with MLB to stream some games on Apple TV+. Additionally, new rivals have entered the live arena.
Live broadcast rights, especially for sports are notoriously expensive but Netflix has been notoriously resistive. This isn’t due to technical difficulties. Still, 2022 was a difficult year for Netflix as the company lost customers as consumer habits evolved.
In light of the ever-changing nature of the media, the corporation has begun to dabble in real-time broadcasts. Laughable and cutting social media posts began to pour in as the globe waited for the reunion program presented by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.
Netflix shared a message from New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was among the vocal critics.

The now-defunct video rental chain Blockbuster asked its followers on Twitter, “Remember renting vhs’ from us. You could get it going on time without much trouble. What we get is this.

Couples in the “Love is Blind” series often make commitments before ever meeting in person. When the firm first began streaming three years ago, traditional networks and broadcast television were effectively the only venues to get a real fix. This helped the company cement its reality TV chops.
