Warner Bros Discover surprised its fan by declaring that they are going to drop HBO from the HBO Max title. On 12 April Wednesday, they will officially announce it. Now fans can see only Max but their subscript plan will remain the same.
“[HBO is] not exactly where parents would most eagerly drop off their kids. And yet Warner Bros. Discovery has some of the best-known kids’ characters, animation, and brands in the industry,” Warner Bros. Discovery president and CEO JB Perrette said.
The new streaming services as Max will be started from 23 May 2023. Here we described all the upcoming tv shows, documentaries, and movies.
Scripted TV
- Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai
This animated tv series will air on 23 May only on Max, with stars voiced like Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, Matthew Rhys, Izaac Wang, AJ LoCascio, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, and Zach Galligan.
- Harry Potter series
Although this series was already adapted for theaters again it will be remade with a new cast. J.K. Rowling will be its executive producer.
- The Sympathizer
This series will be premiered for a limited edition. It will be based on the novel of the same name by Viet Thanh Nguyen. Park Chan-wook and Don McKellar filmed it with a cast including Hoa Xuande, Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Ky Duyen, Sandra Oh, and executive producer Robert Downey Jr.
- The Regime
Starting with Kate Winslet HBO was released for the first time and it will be in a limited season. Though its other details are not opened yet.
- True Detective: Night Country
This is the fourth season of the series with the same cast including Jodie Foster, Kali Reis, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Isabella Star Lablanc, Aka Niviâna, Anna Lambe, and Joel D. Montgrand, Christopher Eccleston, and John Hawkes.
- A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight
It is another prequel to Games of Thrones scripted by George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker produced it.
- The Conjuring
Another horror series-based franchise The Conjuring executively produced by Peter Safran who produced horror films and James Wan will produce it.
- The Big Bang Theory project
Chuck Lorre will executive produce this comedy series. You can get it soon.

- Survive the Raft
Survive the Raft will be a documentary based on the life of strange people who came to spend their life at sea. Discovery Channel will be launching it.
- SmartLess: On the Road
From 23 May you can watch its six installments with the cast of Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes.
- Love & Translation

On the new title of HBO Max, “We maniacally focused on app performance to get our customers watching their content as fast as possible,” Perrette said. “So app start times, video start times, and the general navigation response times will be 20 to 30% faster, depending on which device you’re using.”
