On its third episode, Season 4 of Succession once again broke rating records. The series high of 2.5 million viewers was achieved on Sunday night’s program which was broadcast on HBO Max and in linear telecasts.
That’s a 7% increase from Episode 1’s record-setting audience of 2.3 million and a 22% increase from the prior week’s same-day audience of 2 million. The Reports said the opening episode of Season 2 has now been viewed by approximately 7 million people across platforms.
In the episode “Connor’s Wedding,” which aired on Sunday night, the Roy family dealt with Logan’s unexpected deἀth. Succession’s Season 4 premiere in April 2022 attracted an audience of 2.4 million, a 62% increase over the Season 3 premiere in October 2021 at 1.4 million.
The premiere night ratings were the highest for an HBO original series since HBO Max debuted in May 2020.
