Subaru gets resurrected a few hours after his death and comes to understand that he has the ability to return from the dead at will. Nevertheless, there is a price to pay for his abilities: when he dies, he takes his memories with him, while everyone else forgets them.
He must now free evil, make new allies, and aid Emilia in her quest to become the future queen of Lugunica.

Re Zero Season 3 Release Date
Re Zero debuted its first season on February 4, 2016, and it lasted for a total of 25 episodes. Part one of Season 2 dropped on July 8, 2020, and Part two dropped on January 6, 2021, with 13 and 12 episodes, respectively.
There has been no word on when we may expect to see Season 3 of Re Zero from creator Tappei Nagatsuki or White Fox studio as of July of 2022.

The second season of Re Zero had to be released in two parts due to the pandemic, as seen by the show’s previous release schedule.

The series’ renewal for a third season is a source of concern for some viewers. So, rest easy, since show creator Sho Tanaka has spoken, saying in a Crunchyroll interview:
I’m confident you’ll all be clamoring for a third season once you’ve finished watching this one (season 2). While this may not be a confirmation, it is clear that the producers are considering making a third season.
Fans of Re Zero can breathe a sigh of relief with this revelation since season 3 is happening (albeit not officially confirmed as of yet). That begs the question, when will we get season three of Re Zero? As season two ended in January of 2021, the short answer is no, not soon.

Kadokawa made the announcement on the special stage at AnimeJapan 2023, and they also posted a preview for the new season on YouTube. Season 2 of Re Zero was released four years after the first, hence a conservative estimate for the release of season 3 is 2024.
