Originally published in South Korea, Chugong’s web novel Solo Leveling is also known for its alternative title, “Only I Level Up”. Starting on July 25, 2016, it was serialized on Kakao’s digital comic and fiction platform KakaoPage and on November 4, 2016, D&C Media published the complete work under their Papyrus label.
What is Solo Leveling Release Date?
On March 4, 2018, KakaoPage began serializing a webtoon adaption of Solo Leveling with artwork by Jang Sung-Rak, CEO of Redice Studio who tragically passed away on July 23, 2022, due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
On March 19, 2020, the final chapter of the first season of the webtoon was released, and on August 1, 2020, the first chapter of the second season was released, with the final chapter coming out in December 2021.
As of September 20, 2022, D&C Media had published all five volumes comprising its collected chapters. Yen Press has acquired the rights to publish the book in English. On March 21, 2023, Solo Leveling, a planned anime series had its premiere date set for the winter of 2024.

Trailer of Solo Leveling
The first official trailer for the upcoming anime Solo Leveling was released by A-1 Pictures on March 21, 2023. This teaser likely represents a preview of the pilot episode, as it shows Sun Jin-woo right before he gains his abilities.

Fans will find it even more riveting to see Sung Jin-woo (now called Mizushino Shun) endure the harrowing circumstances that propel the plot forward.
The accompanying primary graphic depicts Shun bleeding out on an altar made of stone. Shunsuke Nakashige directed Noboru Kimura wrote, Tomoko Sudo designed the characters and Hiroyuki Sawano composed the score for the anime produced by A-1 Picture.
The first episode of Solo Leveling will air on Crunchyroll in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States sometime in the winter of 2024.

Sung Jinwoo, a famously weak hunter must fight terrible creatures to prevent humanity from extinction in a world where hunters and human fighters with supernatural skills are necessary to maintain order. As he and his group barely escape an extraordinarily difficult double dungeon.
The mysterious System selects him as its single player and grants him the extremely rare ability to level up his strength and transform anyone he kills into a devoted minion called a shadow. Jinwoo then embarks on a quest, where he battles against monsters and humans alike, to learn the dungeon’s secrets and the origin of his abilities.
